On Monday, August 5, 2019, after a long and productive life, Mr. Oscar Askoff, affectionately
known as “Mr. A,” father of Mrs. Joni Parsley and father-in-law of Pastor Rod Parsley completed
a race well run and is at home in heaven.
He served us all as a member of the U.S. Military in Korea, a man who led by example, displaying honor and sacrifice daily. His love for God and his commitment to his church were evident in his 38 years combined service in the roles of Usher, Head Usher and Usher Emeritus. He treasured his family and considered no man a stranger.
The Askoff family has been instrumental in the legacy and history of World Harvest Church. Our entire church family is uplifting his wife of 63 years, Joann Askoff; daughters Julie Pfeffer; Joni Parsley, and Jennifer Sullivan; grandchildren Matthew Pfeffer, Jillian Hupp, Jared Pfeffer, Daniel Pfeffer; Ashton and Austin Parsley; Ryan, Andrew and Jordan Mills; four great-grandchildren; Ava and Lily Hupp; Jackson and Maxton Pfeffer; nieces and nephews in prayer.
