I realized that I could never be this character that was created in my mind which I claim was under the influence of the media and Martha Stewart! My perfect mom character lived in my daydreams where she would amaze my kids and all others!

As He Said

*special note - Even though I've posted this before, it is the only message for Easter that I could write. I don't know another way to express the significance of those three words that validate the truth - His truth.

Those three words are perhaps the most powerful in the Bible. I’ve heard many Easter sermons, but my favorite part comes from Matthew 28:6, "He is not here, He is risen…as He said." People and preachers alike get so excited by the phrase, "He is Risen," and I certainly don’t want to understate that, but when I hear, "as He said," it speaks volumes that excite me even more! In Luke’s version in chapter 24, verses 6 and 7, the angels were reminding the women of what He told them in Galilee. I love verse 8, "and they remembered His words." That was all the proof that they needed.

Joni,

This is indeed a classic post that is worth repeating. I had forgotten about the post which leads me to question short term and long term memory. But that is what happens when we age. So at certain times I look at old pictures of family and reflect back to times when nothing in my body ached like now when I seem to have new aches ever day. But that is a part of life and we know we are blessed and this is only a temporary condition.

We have so much to look forward to, don't we?

May you and your family have a Blessed Resurrection (Easter) Day.

Good Morning

I wanted to wish you a very Happy Mother's Day! The weeks are flying by so fast I wanted to make sure I got my comment in your journal before Sunday. Mothers are so special I thank God for my best friend and mother everyday she is remarkable words really could not describe my mother all together Lovely and soooooo MUCH MORE we laugh, we shop etc. most important we are saved by God Grace! I finished reading your book I thoroughly enjoyed it. The chapter that resinated with me the most is Memories WOW! I agree. The memories about your grandmother are so precious. My memories of my grandmother she is the lady God used to teach us early in life about Jesus and his love she planted the seed and that's the reason my mom and I are saved today because of her being saved in 1969. She went home to heaven in 1982. I thank God for making the Gospel real to my grandmother so mom and I could have a example early in life. Mom is 67 and I am 41 this is our life living for JESUS!!!

I want to say a very, very special Happy belated Mother’s Day to my dear Mother! I am just so blessed to have her in my life in more ways than you cud possibly know! ---though she’s finally understanding that I am the mother now and she is the child because she is now the weaker vessel! Ha! Change is never fun, but nevertheless, we can’t stop it from happening. My mom had a wonderful Mother’s day and she has been praising God lots more. Thank You JESUS!

Hello Miss. Joni:
Hoping all is well with you and your family. The toils of the road will seem as nothing when we get to the end of the way.
It brings joy to my soul to think on the faithfulness of God. Day after day He proves if we believe His promises perpetual peace will be our portion without a doubt.
I must testify: Two years ago my then 22 year old son moved in with a girl who pursued him since he was 18 year sold because she heard he choose to wait, save himself until he marry. He spent all kinds of money on him. Smh. After high school, he received a scholarship to the University of Toledo as a Bio. Chemistry major. Lost his scholarship after his sophomore year his Gpa. Fell below 3.6. Then One wrong move after another he ended living with this girl. When I found out I was livid. I was in my kitchen at the time I reached for my keys, because I was going to confront this girl. As I touched the keys the Holy Spirit said 'the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.' I went to my closet up stairs cried to the Lord you promised to keep what I commit to you against that day....I committed him before he was even born...Please do something... don't let all the sacrifices be in vain...I stood alone being ridiculed by family and acquaintances for my not approving the relationship. This Easter I sowed my Res Seed one issue I directed my seed to was the will of God be done in my son's life. Last week my son ended the relationship and came home to start over with God and to complete his education. Much more to be said but this is the shorten version. Will God do what He As He Say, I am convinced. .. I have come too far to back up, waver, second guess. Will Heal? Oh yes to the utmost... I had a medical crisis a month ago I sat on my bed panicking, out of my belly rolled the words; when I was on the Cross, you were on my mind'... The symptoms began to dissipate... There were no medical treatment for what was happening with me, But God!!! #greatisthyfaithfulnessohGod

Hi. I pray that all is well. I too can't imagine what they've felt when Jesus died on that cross. Someone had to pay the price and it was Jesus. Thank God that Mary was a woman after God's heart. She assisted God with His plan and now we can partake in this great blessing. Be blessed. I pray for daily. All is well

America need to follow the ONE TRUE GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in so doing we need to bless His people, the God of the BIBLE of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob less America continues to be cursed by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! I pray that America chooses God's blessings and will call upon the God of Israel to help us in these confounding times as we turn completely turn our lives over to Him for help in these troubled times.

I’m so excited about the upcoming event, “Masters Welcome “in our Church. I’m so full of anticipation to witness thousands of souls being saved!
I would like to ask however reads “Jonis Journal” to pray for the cast as they work so hard to make this production a success and for Pastor Parsley for strength as he delivers the gospel message after every production. I would like to encourage everyone to attend to this production. I would like to encourage you to be there and be in prayer for souls, but even better, to invite as many people as you can!!!
I read this quote the other day and it touched my heart so deeply: ” The Gospel is not an alternative, it’s an ultimatum.” ~ Reinhard Bonnke. Saving souls is a lifestyle for a Christian, a constant motivation in life. If we lost our zeal for souls it would be a tragedy. I have unsaved family members, they live in Hungary. My father is an atheist and my mother is an alcoholic . I talk with them through Skype every week and I have been praying for them for 28 years. When I see them I see two lost souls trying to run from God. Oh, how I would love for someone walk up to them and present the Gospel to them or invite them to an event. I cannot be in Hungary so I reach souls here in the States. Every soul we reach is someone’s mother, father, children..etc.
The Gospel is the center of Gods heart, we cannot be any closer to God when we reach out for souls! At that moment we are in the perfect will of God. I hope many people go out of their way, and out of their comfort zone to invite people. This is the greatest Soul Winning opportunity in our Church!! Please be a part of it!!

The Q & A

Often, I get questioned – it comes with the territory. My husband always says, “I can answer anything with three words, 'I don’t know'”! Unfortunately, most people aren’t satisfied with that answer, so that leaves me searching far and wide to come up with something. There are some questions that have a definitive answer and others that have many. One question I struggle with, when asked, has to do with my son and his diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome (a high-functioning form of Autism) at age three.

Joni,

This has been my favourite post yet!! First of all, thank you for being courageous enough to write about something so personal and so dear to your heart. Your words of wisdom are ever so encouraging! You truly are a source of inspiration to me and many others! You are blessed to be a blessing to others and I appreciate you!

I had the opportunity to spend a year with Austin (and Ashton) many years ago. During that time I witnessed more miracles in Austin's everyday life than most would experience in a lifetime! God has brought him through so many obstacles, helped him climb many mountains and been with him as his faced his deepest fears. God has been so faithful, and continues to be, in Austin's life. As I have shared with you before and I believe the Holy Spirit spoke this to my heart: Austin is not set apart for his "disability" but for his ABILITY! He was a young boy who impacted my life and for that I am grateful for the time spent with him!

Amen Miss. Joni and Dawn!!! I have always thought of Austin as a sign and a wonder. This past three weeks the words Dawn uses confirm exactly what I know The Spirit of God spoke in my spirit. He is healed, if he was not healed he would not graduate with 4.+ GPA. He would not have the fear of God and living as a follower of Christ. Because he accomplishes these great feat differently than most makes him no less of a champion or a sign of the power of God to use the foolish things to confound the wise. What?? How many persons with no diagnosis have achieved what Austin has. Be sides being heaven ready, he has two of God's greatest gift to our generation as parents. The most awesome Sister and Grand Mother. Austin is a Blessed man. God has already blessed him and no weapon formed against him shall prosper. Impossible God is not dead, not a man nor is he confused. God did not cause Austin's struggles but He sees him through them all. God thinks very highly of your family to entrust you with the treasure He has in Austin. I know you know the real fight all these years is for your family's FAITH IN GOD and His Power and Promises. When you are tested remember God loves you, and nothing comes to your life unless God allows it. And the fact that He allows a thing is proof He has already created a way of escape. In our reading this morning God's conversation with Moses about the children of Israel really opened my eyes. God told Moses I heard what they said, that they reverence God so they dare not take His presence lightly; then He continues. ..Oh would they be consistent in their trust in me I would bless them and their children... (paraphrasing). From watching your family and the behaviors of Austin from a distance I am learning the importance of consistency with God. To consistently trust God at all times this was a big AHA for me today many things will change from this revelation. You owe no man no explanation only your TESTIMONY of the Goodness of Jesus and the Awesome expression of God's extravagant love that we get to know Austin and your family.

Sister Joni, I just finished reading your book and must tell you it's a blessing full of encouragement, certainly humor, and inspiration, as a Christian, father and grandfather of 16 (soon to be 17 .. yes Jason). While passing 50 is so far back in the rear view mirror these days, I related well to your comments and Random Thoughts about hitting five 0, but much more the impact of our children, on raising, and releasing them as well .. our lives are so much richer for having them, and we get to enjoy the grandchildren now.
As for men asking directions, you must know it's in our DNA I suppose, but we just keep trying to prove we've got what it takes, even if it takes forever to do so (forgive us for we know not what we do).
We love you personally as First Lady of this congregation and we love your spirit for life and through life, .. so great to know His love never fails and He never gives up!
Thank you for being obedient to pour out your heart and life (to make yourself somewhat vulnerable even) so that we may be encouraged along our journey. Yes, we have renewed hope day by day!

Another great journal entry Mrs.Joni, every time I read your journal entries it literally feels like I am inhaling a breath of fresh air. You have a perspective on life that I admire, it hits deep within my spirit and leaves me with inner peace. Yesterday, on World Autism Day, we were doubly blessed - our order of Tapestry of Faith reached us and also we watched yours and Ashton's broadcast on Daystar with Marcus and Joni Lamb. You see, our son Brandon, is also 22 - and autistic. Unfortunately he was denied the therapy he should have received because of an incompetent and uncaring system which offered every excuse under the sun - lack of personnel, lack of funding etc. Even when we tried to pay privately we were blocked. But it was not for want of trying, Joni. We have always done everything we could and still do. Brandon is a truly wonderful son, quite severely autistic in many ways yet at the same time has made a lot of inroads. He is instantly loved by everyone who meets him. He is our only son; we have a daughter too, Georgia, age 17, who also has special needs, very different and in some ways more serious (Spina Bifida) but we could not be more proud of or more grateful for both our children. I know we’ll be blessed by your book, Joni. We were so touched by the way you prayed on TV for parents of special needs children. Our love and prayers for you all. Hi Miss Joni!
It was awesome to see you and Ashton on Daystar! Woo-hoo!!! I never thought I see the day that Miss Joni wud be on anything without her hubby sitting right next to her! You go girl! Although Ashton is a replica of her dad, when I looked at Ashton, I cud not help but seeing her dad in her! Ashton looked just as proud of her mom as Pastor looks of her. There is much to be learned from you all as a family and you definitely reflect on another and how can you not be affected in every area of your lives as you grow together? I can definitely see where you all get your strength; we know it comes from God, but it is quite noticeable how you each have been given the strength from God to hold each other up through your hard times. When one is down, you got three people getting you back up! I thank God for you all being such a great example for others to see what a family truly is. I know that you Miss Joni have struggled to finish your book, but when you got three people that love you dearly who are extremely gifted people in your life filled with great faith in God, pushing you to keep going and cheering you on as you get to the finish line; I'm sure that made it really hard for you to give up! I’m just glad to be a part!

A short note or plug to let you know how I'm doing.

Now I am planning for the future with some health problems behind me. Last year I could not volunteer for the Special Olympics due to health reasons. But this year - I plan to volunteer again for the Ohio Special Olympics in my state.

I can't tell you how rewarding that it is to volunteer in any venue worth wile. It's fun and you often get back so much more than you put into it or sacrifice some small amount of your time.

The young people and the kids are quite competitive. The Special Olympics do a great deal to enhance the lives of their Special Olympics athletes.

Your children and grandchildren are watching, give back and Volunteer!

The Big Day

It’s finally here! The book is being released nationwide today! It doesn’t seem real yet! This has been a life-long dream and God has been so good and so faithful to allow me this privilege. I have you to thank because without this blog, there would be no book and without wonderful people like you reading, there would be no blog. A writer has to have a reader! Thank you, thank you, and thank you! I pray that you share in any blessing this book may bring others.

Congratulations on such a big day and a big accomplishment!! I am so proud of you! You have been such an inspiration to me as I have watched you over the years just doing the ordinary things in life that have now become the extraordinary as you penned your thoughts, prayers and wisdom on paper for all of us be inspired by. I just wanna say that I am so proud of you! I can’t wait to start reading your book! You have so blessed us with your powerful words in you Journal and I can’t even imagine what to expect! I got mom one too and she is so happy! You have always had it in you to write, but we know that timing is everything. We read how even Jesus had to wait for the right time to start teaching about Himself! I thank God for your great wisdom and for being so real. What makes me laugh the most is when you and Pastor get together and tell us stories untold about yourselves. Your stories are so funny and yet so real. The thing is that you both can laugh about everything even though they may have not been funny at the time, but through all of your long tribulations and struggles with each other, God seems to bring joy and laughter through it all! You give people hope because you both have suffered long as we see many people may be suffering in their lives but can see that you both come through the fire smelling like a beautiful rose!

Another great journal entry Mrs.Joni, every time I read your journal I am inspired and I gain a different perspective on God and lifes circumstances that I did not have before. I watched you on Marcus and Joni Lamb, you and your daughter did really excellent! You were both very relatable and down to earth. I read Pastor Parsley's book The Cross and then saw you on Marcus and Joni's show. I said to myself, "a godly woman who is married to a clingy man who needs a baby sitter", now I just have to read that. I thought it was going to be an autobiography like I am used to reading. I wasn't getting into it at first, then I got to the first random thoughts. I was hooked and the more I read, the more I kept saying, "I love this woman." I am 68 years young, and still work one day a week as an in home support for a differently abled young woman. I laughed, cried, ached, rejoiced and agreed with you through this wonderful book. Looking forward to your next one.

I am writing you today to ask for prayer for myself and my family. My sister, brother and I have been estranged for several years and only last year when my dad died did we even see each other for a few hours. The estrangement has been so heartbreaking because I have not understood why my sister has disowned me for the past 25 years. My brother also has been very cold and unkind towards me and my children also. I am a Christian and they do not claim to be Christians anymore. I can only believe the estrangement has occurred because I am a poor single mother who has not had as much money as they have and they have looked down on me for that. I just do not understand why they hate me so much. My dad died without a will and my sister has done everything it seems that she could to keep me from helping to sell his house so I left that up to her but she has not sold it yet and this has been going on for over a year. My mother also has been causing conflict for several years between me and my siblings by playing us against each other. She seems to have all the symptoms of borderline personality disorder and likes to cause trouble between us and I feel that had a lot to do with our estrangement for several years. We are a very dysfunctional and broken family right now and I have been praying that the Lord will heal our problems with each other. I have asked the Lord to help me forgive my mother and siblings for all of the heartbreaking things that they have said and done and to help me get over all of this. My mother called me yesterday and told me my sister now may sue me for the house situation even though she has been the one that should have already sold the house. I would really like to buy my dad's house and keep it but I have not had the funds to do that and my sister may do that just to spite me now. It is a very hurtful and painful situation and all I can do is pray and ask for prayer. I thank you for all of your prayers. God Bless You.

I agree I am so done with this winter! In my state we have had a couple of mild days and now it is forecasted for the weekend back to the snow. Yeah! Not!
I just want my favorite season summer you can wear your summer shoes! No coats, hats gloves etc. I remember a couple of summers ago I got my hair braided and payed 180.00 for the style 50.00 something for the hair to be used! So it was a all day appt. when the stylist got done it was 11:00pm I'm tired and sleepy he is tired and sleepy. So I had him cut it because it was a little to long. Why in the next couple of days LaRetha gets a bright idea to cut it some more. I messed it up not really bad because when I returned to work on Monday some ladies gave me some good compliments but they should have seen it before I got my hands into it! So finally I had to go back and have the stylist try to fix my mess up! mrs. Joni he had the nerve to get mad at me because I cut my hair. So I'm thinking hey wait a minute mister I paid you to do the job how are you going to get angry with me for messing up my money which is was stupid I admit. But he did not do it for free. I guess his feeling were a little bruised because of all the time he put into his work! Was I missing something? Maybe so.

Those type of styles are expensive but it helps me not worry about my hair fixing for a couple of months. I might get one again this summer. Now a regular style is 50.00 which is a lot better but they don't last long for my hair only 2 or 3 days then back to where I started looking well let's just say needing to go right back to the stylist chair! Lol! I told my self in 2014 I was going to wear my make-up everyday well sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. I probably should! Lol! But some days I really can care less. I do like my make-up I wear mainly mary Kay which can be a little expensive but it's not the most expensive! To me make-up is a thing with me that the times I absolutely want to look nice I will wear it and other times I don't. I get compliments on it when I wear it sometimes. I guess because I don't wear it everyday that people notice the difference it makes! We ladies definitely need it! Every so often you will see a lady that has such a beautiful skin where if they never wanted to wear it they would not have too lucky them. Lol! Well God bless you I have to try to wash the dishes and get ready for work. Love you!

Oh....this is just what I needed after a long and exhausting day! So very funny, light-hearted, witty, just plain and simply DOWN to earth! I love it! We all need this :) And on a side note - I don't get the sleeveless shirts in the winter either! This winter has been so cold, you won't see me in short-sleeves let along sleeveless ;) That was a pretty funny point!!

Always enjoy all your posts, but this one was one of my favs!! :)

Dear Joni,
I really enjoyed reading your latest post. Just what I needed today!
I can hardly wait for spring to arrive . This winter was quite challenging.
I think I got “slightly addicted” to blankets , I stocked up on blankets like winter would never end. The bigger the softer the blankets , I just had to buy it. After long nights of work I wanted nothing else but cuddle under a big warm blanket and forgot about everything else around me and just sleep.
Winter came with some benefits for me, I learned to use my crock -pot more often, rearranged my furniture’s several times , started using up my tea collections , had some mother-daughter time more often . I think I watched every Fear-Factor episode on You tube (my daughter loves to watch that show) keeping me awake before work at nights ,because I’m telling you that show can wind you up !!
I was amazed by my dog’s acrobatic capability to manage to walk on icy snow and try to run in the house but instead ended up walking in slow motion thinking which paw she should put down first. I felt sorry for her but I have to admit it was quite hilarious . Our cat was watching her struggle through our door and I’m sure if she could speak she would say :”You deserve it after chasing me through the house every day “.
I’m definitely getting old because I caught myself scared of falling, and grabbing my husbands arm -“like holding onto dear life “ begging him not to slip on the parking lot.
I was listening to my daughter complaining that in Florida she had to wear a sweater because its 55 degrees there. I just wanted to tell her, just come home child and shovel the snow -would you please !?
I know it was a long winter when my Father-in -Law and my Mother-in-Law let us know - “ that’s enough we are moving to Florida “! They are there in this moment looking for a house ! If I wouldn't like the four seasons so much I would consider moving as well.
I can’t hardly wait to see my spring flowers blooming , smell spring in the air and hear the birds chirping. Isn't that amazing that even in -15 degree birds are still chirping . That just reminds me what someone told me the other night : “If you cant praise God in the sunshine don’t seek him in the rain “. Hmmm, I think it is a very powerful thought.
As you said everyday is a gift and we might not like every gift what we get but we accept it anyway. We might not like everyday ,as some days are definitely challenging but we have to learn to accept it from God’s hand and make the best out of it. We cannot trade it, or give it to someone else if we don’t like it (like we would do with a gift) but we have to face it ,make it through ,learn from it and wait for the next day with anticipation . So one day we might praise Him in the sunshine and an other day we might seek Him in the rain !! He is there waiting on us every single time ! What an assurance ,we are never alone !:)

I do love this post! Stay home more often! We need your wit! Looks like we may be getting more snow this weakened and I am so praying against it. We do need a hand with our weather committee! Miss Joni, your pictures are beautiful and you look more beautiful in person! You humbleness just brings out your beauty the more. I can’t wait to get your new book! You did it Miss Joni…YOU DID IT! I believe this year will be a year for dreams to come true! The weather is just trying to discourage us from seeing what is in front of us, but I know this too shall pass!
I believe that the many people that have complained about the summer months will now have a different attitude! Ya think? I do love your new post and your new pictures! You’ve said a whole lot here and I can’t stop giggling. One day I believe I will finally come out of my basement and get some sunshine, but for now, I think I’ma stay snuggled in my blankets! Awesome post!

Most people generally know who God is and they’ve heard about Him here and there, but they really haven’t seen the churches come out and boldly proclaim and confess that “HE IS LORD!” We have sat and allowed people to continue to sin and sin against God and just say nothing. The word “Repent” has become obsolete because we really don’t wanna hurt nobodies feelings less they stop giving their tithes! I don’t know about anybody else, but when I read Leviticus 26 today, it was like REALITY hit! Badda- bang-badda boom!

The problem really is “lack of knowledge”. People have represented God in a way that they only knew God to be and therefore, we have put God’s Word in a cubbard because after no one was telling us that reading the Bible was in order. Thank God for Pastor who is bringing the Word Life alive! I have had so many questions answered and have been set free from confusion, doubt and the peace that flows through me is just so unbelievable! But I wudden’t have this if it wasn’t for the knowledge of my God.

The remedy is so simply, yet people don’t know it. Well, God is pretty plain here when He speaks to Moses. I so crack up every time I heard and the Lord spake to Moses…and the Lord spake to Moses…and the Lord spake…though I must admit I get a little jealous cuz I don’t quite talk to God like Moses did, but I am so excited to have Him speak to me through His Word and He speaks plain as day in it. As we continue to read and study the Word, we can see that God is still speaking out loud!

It’s time for the church to quit being so shy about God specially cuza the things that are taking place today. It’s time to warn the people of God’s wrath and let them know that this God can be soothe if we humble ourselves and turn from our wicked ways and just do right by one another. God uses real harsh Words here for those who do not obey His commands and seems like His punishment here in this passage well… are here! I watched the other day on the news, I think it was in Korea, where a woman was boiling her daughter and well…we don’t ever think that cud be, but I saw it with my own’t eyes and then I read it today. How many parents today wudden’t mind boiling their kids, wives, husbands? Not trynna be funny, but just to say that we’ve lost that loving feeling! Whoa, whoa, whoa! Baby baby I’d get down on my knees for you…doo-doo doo-doo, doo--dooooh! See anyone like that now-a-days? “Whatever!” “Talk to the hand cuz the face don’t care nothing… about YOU!” That has become the norm today and that’s why we are where we are today.

Well, we know that God is love but God is Judge also and as we love our children, we also must bring correction and even punishment upon them in order to teach them that they will be taught responsibility and we must train them in the way of the Lord so they can live good and prosperous days. We have been living so backwards and it’s time to turn our Nation right-side-up once and for all by proclaiming who God really is and what the consequences will be if we make Him mad. We really shud not fear people as long as we are doing right by the people, but we must continue to proclaim that God is the only one that we need to fear and reverence because after all…HE’S GOD and He does hold the whole world in His hand!

When I heard Harry Reid calling the American people a buncha liars, boy did my blood boil over! So many American people are suffering because of losing their health insurance and yet, they deny that it's true! Here’s a thought why don’t you go ask all the American people who lost their insurance and ask them? Whew I had a great prayer today! I haven’t been able to pray too much in the morning’s cuz lately God wants me to write a lot! “Yes Boss!” But today…
Yesterday I started weeping as I was cooking because I just thought of all the goodness of God. As my mom and I watched on the news about the rain storms and the snow storms going on just about everywhere and we saw all kindsa accidents and how many roads were overflowing with ice and sleet, I just had to weep as I looked outside and saw the sun shining and the snow melting, and I had to let God know how much I appreciate Him for taking cara me. I ran to my mom’s room and I told her 100 million lives were affected and I kept saying 100 million lives were affected by these storms and I told her that we do have so much to be thankful for! 100 million people suffering and…

And today I just realized the more how good God is as I stay warm in my house and have food in my working refrigerator…thank you very much I had to really weep once again because of God's Awesome goodness! I’ve been going through John 14-17 again this week cuz it just has so much information and it has so much in there that I want from God and it also has so much information as to how to get it. When we see someone’s on the beach looking for signals with their coin machine thingy and the machine begins to beep, we know that as the machine thingy gets closer to something or another, the person holding it will continue to follow the beep as it gets louder. Well let’s just say that I can I hear the beeps getting louder in these chapters….

If I abide in you and you abide in me…you shall ask anything in my Name and I will give it to you. We know His Name is Jesus and when we ask in Jesus’ Name that means we ask in His Name which is also the Word if God, and since He is the Word manifest and we know that the Book of Revelations clearly states that His Name is “The Word of God.” So we are really asking in the Name of His Word or the Bible. So instead of saying in the Name of Jesus, we can say by the authority of your Name or your Word…which is Jesus or God of course. Beep…Beep…beep. Beeeeep…beeep. I had to let God know that what I have been reading sometimes sounds unrealistic, and it does…If I abide in you and you in Me and we become one.

Though I can’t quite get this, I really have to let this stuff sink in my Spirit until it becomes real! And I will keep on asking questions and seeking because when I really think on this concept that God, the Holy Spirit is in me then I kinda haveta try and picture that. God is in me and greater works than these shall I do. It’s all about faith really, and we know that faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by, or through hearing the Word of God…beep…beep…beep…beep….beeeeeeeep! I thank God every time that I see something new and I know that tomorrow that I can pick up more where that came from because God is never ending to His knowledge! We can only get as far in God as we allow ourselves to get, or we can stay where we are at and remain where we are at. Some people are not content with what they have and then there are others…well…that like watching desperate housewives, I guess. Though I must admit that I’m pretty desperate right but I can also say that my desperation doesn’t come close to those desperate housewives but exeeds in multitudes!

Joni, you have come such a long way. Now everyone can enjoy your writing with your new book. When I read this post I thought - now we are starting the second book. This post is so good. Although sometimes we are annoyed by things such as snow, some people just love the white fluffy stuff.

I remember when my brother and my sisters and I were young we would build snow forts and just play in the snow for hours. Sadly my brother and one of my sisters are gone now and the family does not speak of those days.

When my father was dying of cancer all he wanted was to live just to see one more snow. I didn't ask him why he wanted that but it didn't happen for him. But since he was a Christian when he died, I know that I will see him again one day.

I think that if we ask him maybe God will let us have snow in Heaven one day. For those in Heaven who have never experience snow and wanted to he could do that. After all God invented snow. I have often heard that many bad germs can't grow in the cold.

Time goes so quickly sometimes. I realized that I have lived through your book. It was a part of my life and what was happening to me for several years. I also will never forget your ministering to Jane and many others. What happened was so life changing, one can't exactly put it into words, at least I can't. Whenever things overwhelm me, I just want to hide away and get lost in a good book.

I will again be looking in from time to time to again be moved or delighted by your Journal Joni Parsley. You are a good person to use your gift for the Body of Christ.

Hi miss Joni

I wanted to wish mother Parsley a very Happy Birthday. All her labor down through the years certainly paid off with the flourishing WCH. Wish is truly a blessing to God people as you say it" The best church family in the world!! Amen !!I I second that.
